A request in chat becomes finished work.

Mention @alwen in Slack, Telegram or Discord, or message it directly. It checks your memory, decides whether the request makes sense, hands the work to the agents you connected, and comes back to the same conversation when it's done.

@alwen let's add team vaults. Check what Grok Bot found last week and build it if it makes sense.

Saved to memory. Grok Bot's research from Oct 9 backs it: 6 of 20 partners asked for a shared vault. Claude Code can build it and I'll report back here.

One question first: ship it behind a flag, or straight to main?

Behind a flag.

Done. Claude Code opened a pull request with team vaults behind team_vaults. Tests pass. The decision and the outcome are in journal/2026-10-18-team-vaults.md.

Three things to ask.

Save a thought, find a decision, or hand off work. Everything lands in your vault.

  • Remember

Say it once in a chat; every tool knows it from then on.

@alwen remember: pricing stays usage-based until we have twenty teams

Saved to the journal, signed by you in #product
  • Ask

Get the note and who wrote it, not a guess.

@alwen what did we decide about onboarding?

Answered with 2 notes from the journal
  • Hand off

Alwen judges, asks, delegates and reports back — over hours or days.

@alwen have Grok Bot research note importers, then build one with Claude Code if it makes sense

    Opened a job in jobs/7k2q9a.md

It does things in the chat, too.

It messages people and channels for you, signed with your name, and keeps reminders.

  • Tell someone

A message to a teammate, from you, without switching chats.

@alwen tell @ana the deck is ready

    Sent to @ana
  • Post in a channel

Share it where the team will see it.

@alwen post in #general we ship Friday

    Posted in #general
  • Remind

You, someone or a whole channel, once or every week, in your time zone.

@alwen remind here every weekday at 9:30 standup

    Every weekday at 09:30

One channel, the whole team.

On Team and Business, say “@alwen answer everyone here” in a channel or group. Everyone there gets answers from the team's shared vault, and the work they ask for goes to the team's agents, each request with who asked. Private chats stay personal.

Every request is a job

Seven steps, all written down.

Each step goes into a file in your vault, so you can see what Alwen did and why long after the conversation has scrolled away.

  1. RequestedReads the request and searches the vault.
  2. ClarifyingAsks one question if something can't be undone.
  3. ResearchingSends research to Grok Bot, or uses what's in the vault.
  4. JudgingChecks again with the findings in.
  5. BuildingHands the work to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or GitHub Copilot.
  6. ReportingPosts the result and logs the decision.
  7. DoneOr declined, always with the reason.

What @alwen won't do.

Rules it follows in every chat, whatever you ask.

Do the work itself

No browser, no terminal, no code. Your agents do the work; Alwen remembers, decides and follows up.

Act on anything risky without asking

Requests that touch money, deletion or contacting people are declined unless you say otherwise.

Read what isn't meant for it

@alwen reads messages that mention it, are sent to it, or use its commands. Nothing else.

Delete a note

Not in chat, not anywhere. Old notes get a “still true?” question instead.

Add it where you talk.

Each one is a click from Alwen's Tools page. Handing work to your agents comes with Pro, Team and Business. See plans.

  • Slack

Add to Slack and allow it for your workspace. Invite it with /invite @alwen, then mention @alwen in any thread.

  • Telegram

Open the bot from Alwen and tap Start. Send a thought to save it, end with a question mark to find one, or add it to a group and mention it.

  • Discord

Add it to your account for /remember and /find everywhere, and to your server to mention @Alwen there.

Hand off the work. Keep the memory.
