Gemini CLI
Gemini in your terminal checks your notes and rules before it codes, and saves what it learns. Google moved free and Google One accounts to Antigravity in June 2026.
What changes
- Follows your rules in every project
- Searches your notes for context before it answers
- Logs decisions in your journal
Set up
In your terminal, run gemini mcp add --transport http alwen https://api.alwen.ai/mcp.
In Gemini CLI, type /mcp auth alwen and click Allow on the Alwen page.
What it reads and writes
Every write is a commit signed by Gemini CLI, so you can see what it added and undo it.
Reads
- Your rules and profile, once per session
- Notes that match what you're working on
Your vaultyou/alwen-vault
Writes
- What it learns, into inbox/gemini-cli/ for the tidy-up to file
- Decisions, straight into journal/
- Suggested rules, which wait for you to confirm
