Pool
Pool, Poolside's agent, reads and saves to your memory. It can't sign in through the browser, so it connects with an Alwen key you create.
What changes
- Searches your notes and follows your rules
- Saves what it learns where your other tools can see it
- Stops the moment you disconnect its key
Set up
In Alwen: ToolsPoolCreate a key. It's shown once, with the lines for ~/.config/poolside/settings.yaml filled in.
Paste those lines into ~/.config/poolside/settings.yaml and restart it.
Keep the key like a password. Disconnect in Alwen cancels it at once.
What it reads and writes
Every write is a commit signed by Pool, so you can see what it added and undo it.
Reads
- Your rules and profile, once per session
- Notes that match what you're working on
Writes
- What it learns, into inbox/pool/ for the tidy-up to file
- Decisions, straight into journal/
- Suggested rules, which wait for you to confirm
