Getting started

Three steps, a few minutes, no setup files unless you want them.

1. Create your vault

Sign in with Google or GitHub, then choose where your memory lives. Alwen keeps it is ready in seconds, in a private repository only Alwen's systems can open; you can download it any time. In my GitHub: create one private repository, alwen-vault (Alwen opens GitHub with the name and Private filled in), and give Alwen access to it. Alwen gets that repository only and fills it with the folders it needs. What's in the vault.

2. Connect your tools

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Mistral Vibe, Grok Bot, Viktor, Slack, Telegram and Discord connect with a click and a sign-in. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex and Hermes Agent need a small config file or one command; Alwen shows you what to paste. On Free you connect any two except Slack; on Pro and up, all of them. Setup for each tool.

3. Keep working

Talk to your tools as usual. To see the memory work across tools, try this:

  1. In Claude, say: “Remember that I prefer short answers with the conclusion first.”
  2. In Cursor or ChatGPT, ask: “How do I like answers?”

Claude saved the note to inbox/claude/; the second tool found it with a search. The tidy-up files it into knowledge/ later.

What to do next

  • Write down how you want every tool to behave in rules/global.md. How rules work.
  • Add @alwen to Slack, Telegram or Discord to hand work to your agents. @alwen and jobs.
  • Open the vault in Obsidian to read and edit it yourself.
